Roy Anderson (American Football)
Roy Anderson (born October 5, 1980) is an American football coach for the Minnesota Vikings. Coaching career Anderson's career began at Florida A&M where, in 2002, he served as a graduate assistant. In 2003, at LSU under Nick Saban, Anderson was a student assistant working primarily with wide receivers. He then moved on to Florida State where he worked under the legendary Bobby Bowden as a graduate assistant. He would spend the next three seasons as a player personnel assistant with the Baltimore Ravens before being promoted to a coaching assistant position in 2008 with the arrival of John Harbaugh. In 2009, Anderson earned another promotion, this time to defensive assistant. In 2010, Anderson was named the secondary coach. When Chuck Pagano, the former Ravens defensive coordinator, was hired as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, it was soon announced that Anderson would be following Pagano to Indianapolis to serve as the safeties coach. 1910 NHA Season
The 1910 NHA season was the first season of the National Hockey Association men's professional ice hockey league. The season started on January 5, but was suspended immediately and the league then absorbed the Ottawa and Shamrocks teams of the Canadian Hockey Association and the season continued from January 15 to March 15. Seven teams played 12 games each. The Ottawa Hockey Club played two Stanley Cup challenges during the season, but lost the Cup to their rivals the Montreal Wanderers who won the league championship and played a Cup challenge afterwards. League business After the Canadian Hockey Association (CHA) turned down the Wanderers' application to join, Wanderers' manager Jimmy Gardner, along with Renfrew's Ambrose O'Brien worked to put together enough teams to form a league. Arthur Clyde "Hack" Engle (March 19, 1884 – December 26, 1939) was a utility player who played in Major League Baseball between and . Listed at 5' 10", 190 lb., Engle batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Dayton, Ohio. Engle was a sort of super-utility man at all positions but pitcher and catcher, playing mainly at first base and third. He entered the majors in 1909 with the New York Highlanders of the American League, playing for them one and a half seasons before joining the Boston Red Sox (1910–14). In his rookie year for New York, he hit for a .278 batting average with a career-highs of 20 doubles and 71 RBI in 135 games. His most productive season came with Boston in 1913, when he posted career-numbers in average (.289), runs (75), triples (12) and stolen bases (28). Roy Andersen (born 2 April 1955) is a former Norwegian long-distance runner. Internationally he finished tenth at the 1982 European Championships and 38th at the 1986 World Cross Country Championships. He also competed at the 1983 World Championships without reaching the final. He became national marathon champion in 1987 and half marathon champion in 1988. He won the 5000 metres silver medals in 1982 and 1983, won the 10,000 metres silver in 1982, and a bronze in 1985. In cross-country running Andersen became national champion in 1982, 1985 and 1986 with a silver in 1988 (10 km). He represented the club Tønsberg FIK. Major General Roy Cecil Andersen (born 12 May 1948 in Johannesburg) is a South African businessman and a retired Reserve general officer in the South African Army from the artillery. He matriculated from Northview High School and graduated from Witwatersrand University.
